FAQs

What is King of the Corn?

King of the Corn is a cornhole tournament for Ki associates. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Operation Bootstrap in Stevens Point. The tournament is double-elimination with a losers bracket. The first place and second place winning teams will each receive a trophy.

Who can participate?

Tournament players must be Ki associates. Family, friends, and the public are welcome to spectate.

What is the cost to compete?

The registration fee is $6 per player, paid via payroll deduction. There is an option to pre-purchase a walking taco with your online registration at a discounted price, which would make your total registration payroll deduction $13.

Do I need to have a teammate?

A teammate is not required. If you have a teammate, include their name on the registration form, and we will pair you together. If you do not have a teammate, we will pair you with another solo player based on your available start times.

The event starts during my work hours. Can I still participate?

When you register, you can select the start times that work for you; 3:45 PM, 4:15 PM, 4:45 PM, 5:15 PM, and 5:45 PM. Please include the earliest time you are available, and we will do our best to accommodate you. You and your teammate will receive an email on Monday, June 16th with your assigned start time. If your start time is during your working hours, please ask your manager about your options. If you are still unable to make your start time, please contact Renee Stevens or visit the Front Desk.

How does the raffle work?

There are four prizes that will be given away in the raffle. All money collected will be donated to Operation Bootstrap in Stevens Point. The raffle is open to current Ki associates only. Ticket sales will begin on Monday, June 2nd. Tickets can be purchased on the Prize Raffle page, at the Front Desk during business hours, or at the concession table during the event. Winners will be drawn and announced on Friday, June 20th. Except for the 4 PTO hours, winners need to pick up their prizes in-person at the Front Desk.

Can I bring alcohol?

This event is BYOB, so you are welcome to bring your own alcoholic beverages. Please remember that this is a work event, so drink responsibly.

Do you have a cornhole set we can borrow for the event?

Thanks for submitting!
We’ll be in touch.
